Air aerial fitness5/1/2023 We ended with another round of stretching and then grabbed our phones to take pictures!Īfter class I walked across the street to take advantage of the studio’s proximity to the Beverly Connection with discount stores like Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx, and Ross. I stopped a few times because the inverted moves made me feel lightheaded. She went kind of quickly but then walked around to help us. I was in the back row close to the speaker so at times it was really hard for me to see/hear as Anna demonstrated each move. Don’t underestimate the arm and core strength needed to do these moves. After working up a sweat, we moved into some tricks and learned how to flip upside down and lay down on the hammock in the air (pictures below). It was basically TRX with prettier straps. We started by stretching and moved quickly into strength and cardio moves, doing tons of lunges, planks, tricep presses, and crunches and climbing/jumping up the hammocks. After signing in and filling up my water bottle-you will want water-I grabbed a mat and found a hammock that fell at hip height. I took the elevator (couldn’t find the stairs) to the second floor and headed into AIR Aerial Fitness. Thank goodness for Uber! Although I was dropped off at the studio, there is plenty of parking in the lot at the shopping center. ![]() There’s nothing worse than running late for a class only to find that you have a flat tire. I’m always looking for new workouts that challenge different muscles so I decided to give aerial fitness another shot. I’ve had the chance to learn how to pole dance, get my heart racing while bouncing on a trampoline, and plank on a wobbly surfboard. The best thing about living in Los Angeles is the abundance of fitness classes beyond the usual exercises. ![]() Address: 8474 W 3rd St, Suite 200, Los Angeles, CA 90048
